Shane McAdams
Technicolor paintings from Brooklyn based Artist and writer Shane McAdams. Shane’s work is influenced by the desert landscapes of his youth, the strata and rock formation sculpted over thousands of years by wind and rain. In these paintings he presents more traditional forms of landscape painting intertwined with his abstract ink bleeds and forms of corrosion, emphasising the contrast between the haphazard and meticulous methods. Shane McAdams currently has a solo exhibition at the Pentimenti Gallery, Philadelphia running until July 21st.
