A new series of abstract images of light by UK photographer Michael Taylor will be released on the 7th of May. The series was made at a fairground in southern France, capturing the rides with long exposures to create some really interesting moving light photography. Michael Taylor has many more images from other projects on his site below.
A bit late for Valentine’s day but it’s a genius little invention all the same from London based designer Lambert Rainville. A circular series of triangle shaped plastic funnels hold the individual stems of a bouquet of flowers allowing them to become self supporting. These are available to buy on shapeways.com
Duggan Morris Architect’s new urban infill project on Curtain Road in Shoreditch, London is nearly complete. The existing three story brick building is crowned with a contemporary lightweight volume proportioned into bays defined by it’s context while contrasting beautifully with the depth and ornamentation of the retained georgian facade.
