JeeYoung Lee
Surreal photography from Korean creative JeeYoung Lee. All these images are of her 3 x 6m studio where she creates the stages set which she inhabits through her photography. Her work will be at the Naughton Gallery at Queens (Belfast, Northen Ireland) next year.
Michael Taylor – Quanta
A new series of abstract images of light by UK photographer Michael Taylor will be released on the 7th of May. The series was made at a fairground in southern France, capturing the rides with long exposures to create some really interesting moving light photography. Mountain Tour – Kim Asendorf – Pixel Sorting
Some impressive coding wizardry from conceptual Artist Kim Asendorf who works mainly in media and digital art. These images are from the series ‘Mountain Tour’. They use the algorithmic image manipulation process named ‘pixel sorting’ by Kim Asendorf in 2010. The result of this technique seems to be pretty random; leaving uncontrolled results. Prints of all these images are available to buy through his site here and you can find more of Kim Asendorf’s boundary redefining works on his maze of a site below.
